His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Commissioner General for the Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Well-Being Pillar - Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Roads, and Transport Authority, expressed the pride shared by UAE citizens and residents in celebrating Flag Day.
He stated, “This day unites us all under the UAE flag, raised high as a symbol of national pride. It is an opportunity to renew our loyalty to the nation and express deep gratitude to the wise leadership that has built a modern, exemplary state known for its unity, advancement, and prosperity. Flag Day also honours the founding leaders who dedicated their lives to fostering the UAE’s growth and securing a prosperous, sustainable future for generations to come.
“Every year, November 3rd is a solemn day in our lives—a time to renew our pledge and commitment to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai; and their fellow Rulers of the Emirates.
“On this day, we reaffirm our loyalty to the UAE flag, a symbol of our pride and dignity that reflects a nation held in high esteem globally. We are committed to preserving the UAE’s achievements and hard-won progress, safeguarding them with unwavering dedication and sacrifice.”
