Approving the AED 2 Billion ‘Therme Dubai’ Project

As part of the Quality-of-Life pillar, one of the key foundations of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, the "Therme Dubai" project has been approved. The project includes a wellbeing resort and an interactive park and is being developed in Zabeel Park with an estimated cost of AED 2 billion. The project is the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East and the tallest facility of its kind in the world.

The project is anticipated to be completed by 2028, and it will be funded by a consortium of local and international financing partners. Its launch aligns with the declaration of 2025 as the “Year of the Community” in the UAE and supports the Quality of Life Strategy’s goal of making Dubai one of the top 10 cities in quality of life by 2033. It also serves as a significant contribution to achieving one of the key targets of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Furthermore, the iconic project spans 500,000 square feet, stands 100 metres tall, and is designed to host up to 1.7 million visitors annually. The project boasts an array of world-class amenities, including natural therapeutic zones, diverse thermal pools, and multiple floors dedicated to wellbeing and relaxation. Key attractions include a Michelin-star restaurant, three 18-metre waterfalls, and expansive 4,500-square-metre indoor and terrace pools offering dynamic, and many more facilities.
