Statement by Mattar Al Tayer on the launch of Dubai's Quality of Life Strategy 2033

Al Tayer: The Quality-of-Life Strategy is centered on people and their well-being

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Commissioner-General for Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Well-Being Pillar, stated: “the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, cements Dubai’s position among the top global cities for living by enhancing the overall living experience for both residents and visitors.

"The Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 is fundamentally people-oriented. It focuses on enhancing the quality of life for all residents by meeting their needs for a healthy and safe living environment. It provides a superior infrastructure by doubling green and recreational spaces, increasing public beaches, and providing sustainable & flexible transportation options that improve people’s mobility among other services that enhance Dubai’s profile as the most beautiful city to live in worldwide,” commented Al Tayer.

“The strategy is underpinned by an integrated institutional structure that includes a dedicated Quality of Life Office and teams under an organizational structure that ensures integrational roles and coordinated responsibilities across 19 governmental and private entities. The overall objective is to ensure achieving the targets of the strategy and turning it into a reality enjoyed by all,” he added.
