Statement of His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer on the launch of Dubai Social Agenda 33

His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, the Commissioner General of the Infrastructure, Urban Planning, and Wellbeing Pillar said: The launch of Dubai Social Agenda 33 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai represents a continuation of the leadership's commitment to launching initiatives and projects aimed at fostering the well-being for both residents and visitors of Dubai.

“Entrusting the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of the Agenda to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council along with His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance; and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, is set to accelerate the completion of various projects and initiatives, thereby fulfilling the objectives outlined in the Agenda.

“The Dubai Social Agenda 33 is a manifestation of His Highness's customary unveiling of promising national programmes and projects on 4^th January  each year, marking the anniversary of His Highness's ascension as Ruler of Dubai. This year's announcement advocates the commitment to nurturing a larger family and a coherent society.

“Allocating a substantial budget of over AED200 billion  underscores the foresight and dedication of the leadership to foster cohesion and compassion within our community that we take pride in. The holistic projects and initiatives envisaged are focused on serving the families of Dubai in terms of providing adequate housing, improving living standards, offering healthcare, and focusing on social identity, values and cohesion besides fostering the development of skills of future generations.

“Humans remain a fundamental focus of our wise leaders, which is evident in all national initiatives and projects. A fresh example is the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 for aimed to double Dubai’s economy in the next decade, positioning it among the top three global economic cities. It serves the overall goal of establishing Dubai as the ideal destination for living and working in the world, and the top destination for visitors from all over the globe,” concluded Al Tayer.
